It’s been a hectic summer, and we’re only a month or so in, but I’m starting to feel the stress.
I do my best to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle, but late nights and early mornings are inevitable when you blog full-time and have another full-time career. All that stress started to weigh heavy on my shoulders and upper back, so the invite to explore Hand & Stone in my city came at the perfect time.
Between a facial or a massage, I always pick a massage. I know first-hand the benefits of regular visits— improves circulation, reduces inflammation, manages pain, all of which work together to keep you healthy and happy. I didn’t know this, but Hand & Stone actually has a lifestyle program that helps you incorporate regular massages into your self-care, at an affordable price. It’s month-to-month, so you don’t have to feel like you’re signing your life away, which is important for someone like me who travels often and might not be able to consistently squeeze in a massage per month.
I went for their Deep Tissue Massage by their amazing RMT and left feeling so relaxed and sleepy (you might have caught that on my Insta-Stories). The vibe was relaxed, she made me feel comfortable and the first thing she said to me was: “What can I do for you?” All the tension in my shoulders and neck have melted away, and I can’t wait for my next appointment!
For all my Ontario peeps, there’s over 20 locations in the province, so I highly recommend you book yourself an appointment to see what I’m talking about! Multi-masking and fancy serums only go so far when your body is sore and stressed.
