When the whole brand is flawless, it can be a little overwhelming choosing 1 (or even 2 products) to try. So, we rounded-up 3 Drunk Elephant picks you need for total radiant skin.
Top 3 Drunk Elephant products
It’s been a while since we’ve come across such a flawless brand, and we fully understand the pricetag can be a little intimidating, but if you were going to try at least 1 products of theirs, here’s 3 potentials that we’re obsessed with:
Lala Retro Whipped Cream
The Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream ($70) is pure whipped silk with only one goal: reversing tight dry skin. It’s fragrant-free (perfect for sensitive skin) and it’s thick enough to deliver 24 hour hydration, but with no traces of grease. Literally, not one ounce of lingering grease post application. It’s formulated with a blend of oils (for hydration), plantain extract (for firmness), and green tea seed (for antioxidant protection). It also has sodium hyaluronate, a smaller sized molecular in comparison to hyaluronic acid, which means it penetrates easier into the skin for maximum hydration. When we say the Lala Retro Whipped Cream has one job, we mean it, your skin will never feel dry again. (This cream is vegan, silicone-free, gluten-free, and has a pH level of 5.5.)
C-Firma Day Serum
The C-Firma™ Day Serum ($100) is super potent vitamin C-based serum that will infuse your skin with antioxidants to protect you from photo-aging, while boosting firmness and radiance. Vitamin C is an incredible skincare ingredient that works to protect the collagen in your skin, while giving you a natural glow. The molecule is pretty unstable and can oxidize quickly, but Drunk Elephant formulated it with ferulic acid and vitamin E to create a stable compound. (Aka, does not stain the skin!) The formula is also infused with pumpkin, sodium hyaluronate (best form of hyaluronic acid), green tea, pomegranate, and licorice root extract. And, can’t forget the wonderful and hydrating marula oil, which is a staple ingredient in any Drunk Elephant products. This is fantastic for normal and dry skin, but may be a little too thick if you’re oily. (It has 15% ascorbic acid with a pH level of 3.3.)
T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
If you’re looking for a skin overhaul, the T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum ($164) is a total must. The pricetag is hefty, but its blend of AHAs and BHAs (glycolic, lactic, citric, salicylic, and tartaric acid) makes it an efficient skin resurfacing serum. The glycolic acid breaksdown the glue between dead skin cells, working on skin texture, discoloration, and photo-damage—whereas the salicylic acid penetrate pores to reduce breakouts. Its formulation is lighweight, so great for both dry or oily skin, but it’s very potent. If you have sensitive skin, make sure to patch test and consider using it every other day. Drunk Elephant did include a blend of antioxidant ingredients (to protect), as well as soothing ingredients like sodium hyaluronate and marula oil. Consistent use will take your skin from dull to radiant! (It has 12% glycolic and 1% salicylic with a pH level of 3.8, which is optimal for the acids!)
