3 highlighters under $10 that are worth checking out

A couple years ago, it was difficult to find a great highlighter at an affordable price. Thankfully, those days are gone. Let’s talk affordable highlighters.

Top to Bottom Swatches: Annabelle Perfect Glow in Shade Quartz; Annabelle Perfect Glow in Shade Golden Diamond; Maybelline Master Chrome in Shade Molten Gold; Essence Pure Nude in Shade Be My Sunlight

Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter

The Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter (~$9CAD) is pure glow and probably one of the best on the drugstore market. The soft powder formula allows for flawless application and blending, but the high-pigment reflective particles deliver a beautiful metallic sheen. This one allows for a subtle application, or if you want to go full glam, you can build the glow pretty easily without highlighting the texture on your skin.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter

The baked formula of the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter (~$6CAD) is softer, with a more natural glow. The light reflective particles are far more finely milled than the Master Chrome highlighter—so this is great if you want a daily natural lit-from-within glow.

Annabelle Perfect Glow Highlighter

The Annabelle Perfect Glow Highlighter (~$9CAD) is the most subtle of the three, so it’s a great option if you’re conservative when it comes to that space glow. The powder is super silky and sits beautifully on top of the skin. Great option if you plan on keeping your makeup super natural!
