Here’s what we’ve been loving on our hair this month

Whether you’re looking for a curly hair routine or simply browsing products to soothe damaged follicles, we’ve been testing out a ton of hair products this month that may do your hair some good.

We get a ton of hair question, so we made sure to include a little bit of everything in this monthly hair round-up—whether you’re trying to prolong your color treatment or trying to forgo traditional shampoo.

design.ME

New to us, design.ME is a colorful full-line brand with a focus on volume and style. Our fave pieces from their collections include the unique HOLD.Me Spray ($22) that literally caters to your desired hold with its 3 levels of support. Simply twist the adjustable nozzle to your desired control level and spray to your heart’s desire. This is super convenient, since you don’t need the same control for beach-y waves as you do a wedding day up-do!

If you’re looking for a full-service hair treatment that does everything from protecting color to reducing frizz, the fab.ME Multi-Benefit Lotion ($24.50) is a great travel companion. Despite calling itself a lotion, it has a misting applicator that we love using on damp hair. Just spray and style as usual!

Unwash

We’ve been using Unwash sine mid-March, when we did a pool-side unboxing in Florida. If you’re unfamiliar, Unwash is a whole new approach to (as they write) the outdated conventional washing system. All the products are made to disrupt the traditional shampoo, condition, repeat cycle. If you’re looking to spend longer in-between wash days or to protect damaged hair, or to make your color last, Unwash is the answer. We personally love the Dry Cleanser ($24), which is formulated with volcanic ash to absorb oils and vitamin E to nourish your hair. Not all dry shampoos are made equally and this one is great at cleansing the hair without making it dirtier the next day.

If you deal with dry hair, we highly recommend taking the Hydrating Masque ($29) for a spin. Besides being formulated with hydrating argan oil, the mask also includes hydrolyzed quinoa, which we’ve never come across before. We already know it’s a great source of protein and amino acids, and that’s been translating super well in our hair. (Silky and strong.) We just ran out of our first tube and plan on re-purchasing!

Joico

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll remember our disastrous ombre that required major Joico help. We’ve been happy to revisit our old friend, the K-Pak line, but this time, for Color Therapy. The Luster Lock Instant Shine & Repair Treatment ($26.20) and the Luster Lock Multi-Perfector ($26.20) have been a godsend when it comes to adding life to our color. One of us has bright red hair, which requires major maintenance. We use the Luster Lock Instant Shine & Repair Treatment in the shower for a quick fix and then follow-up with the Multi-Perfector Leave-In spray for a long-lasting and lustrous color. We seriously can’t say good enough things about the K-Pak line!

LaCoupe

We explored LaCoupe back in February for the first time, but instead of the voluminous LaCoupe’s Moroccan Rose collection, we’ve been testing out the super hydrating Coconut Milk Collection. If you’re in dire need of moisture and nourishment, but don’t want to spend major coins, LaCoupe is a great option. The formula is hydrating, nourishing, and smells delicious–for both the shampoo ($8.98) and conditioner ($8.98)!
