Do you remember your first love?
Burberry’s new summer collection, First Love, is the epitome of rosy cheeks and first date butterflies.
The star of the summer collection is the Limited Edition First Love Palette ($72), inspired by Burberry’s playful prints from their womenswear. The combined heart-shaped blush and highlighter compact has a satin finish that compliments any complexion, while delivering a gorgeous layer of pink over the skin. A total must if you enjoy subtle shimmer and color. If you prefer to glow even brighter, Burberry’s Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base ($54) is an iconic multi-use primer that creates the signature Burberry glow. Mine is in Golden Radiance No. 02, which gives an overall warm tone to the skin. (It’s also water-based, so super hydrating and comfortable!)
Ah. Burberry never fails to disappoint me in the eyes department. I’ve beein eyeing the (pun intended) Burberry’s Eye Colour Contour Pens ($35) since they picked up popularity a few years ago. This is the ultimate fresh-faced-smokey-or-scultped-eye-look product. It’s smudge-proof, easy to use, super blendable, matte, and comes in every shade you could think of. I have Pale Cooper No. 106 and Rosewood No. 112, but I plan on expanding my collection very soon. If you need a little bit more glam and glitter, the Burberry Eye Colour Cream ($35) pots are blendable cushion-soft shadows that have major pigment. You could apply the Colour Cream on the lid and smoke out the outer corner with the Colour Contour Pens, and voila, a runaway-inspired smoky eye!
Your look is incomplete without that Burberry lip love. On days, you can rock the soft colours from the Burberry First Kisses ($28), a hydrating glossy lip balm. And, for a night out, you can step up the pigment with Burberry Full Kisses ($33) full-coverage and creamy lipsticks. I personally love the sleek retractable pen style of the First Kisses—super easy to apply and carry around.
